Playwright
Will Sippel
Will Sippel (Playwright) is an Orlando local actor and writer. This piece was originally workshopped at Project Spotlight UCF, where he graduated with a BFA in Acting in 2022. Samples of other plays including The Ghosts, The Underground Game, and An Apology can be found on his New Play Exchange page. Recent local acting credits include Theatreworks USA's Dog Man The Musical (Petey) and Spongebob Squarepants (Electric Skate), both at the Orlando Repertory Theatre. Special thanks to this show's producer, Orlando's most promising new arts journalist, and his fiancé, Caroline Hull.

Cristina Neely
Cristina Neely is in her final semester of the UCF B.A. Theatre Studies program with minors in Marketing and Medieval/Renaissance Studies. Recent credits include As It’s Written at Penguin Point (Associate Director/Stage Manager), Manor of Death with Project Spotlight (Co-Director), and the premiere of We Begin in a Tavern last Spring (Director).

Assistant Director
Hudson Cosgrove-Naftal
Hudson Cosgrove-Naftal is pleased to return as assistant director of We Begin in a Tavern after aiding in its development at UCF. This is her first time assistant directing a show, and her first time working on a Fringe show after years of volunteering around the festival. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her theatrical endeavors, and she looks forward to whatever adventures follow!

Elana Treiser
Elana is a junior in the BFA Stage Management program at UCF, and she is so excited to be a part of this journey! Previous Theatre UCF credits include Shrek the Musical (Assistant Stage Manager), Welcome to the Moon (Assistant Stage Manager), UCF Celebrates the Arts (Stage Manager), and Spells of the Sea (Stage Manager) as a part of UCF’s new works festival Pegasus Play lab. Other credits include Junie B. Jones the Musical Jr. (Assistant Stage Manager) at the Orlando REP, and The Family Business (Director) and Birdbrains (Stage Manager) with Project Spotlight.

Toni is a Sophomore Stage Manager currently pursuing her degree at UCF. Recent UCF Stage

Manager) as a part of UCF’s new works festival Pegasus Play lab. Outside credits include Junie

Aja Hendrix
Aja is a recent graduate from the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Theatre Studies. She is excited to return as Dramaturg for We Begin in a Tavern after collaborating on it at UCF. Favorite credits include White People by the Lake (Dramaturg) with Orlando Shakes Playfest and Affinity Lunch Minutes (Dramaturg) with UCF’s Pegasus Playlab.

Set Designer
Audrey Casteris
Audrey Casteris is an Orlando based scenic designer. She recently graduated from the
University of Central Florida with a BFA in Theatre Design/Technology, where her design credits included The Interference and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui. She is also a serving as set designer and props manager for Manor of Death at this year’s Fringe Festival.

Props Designer
Hailey Osborn
Hailey Osborn is a Theatre Design and Tech BFA student at UCF focusing in scenic and projection design. Some of her previous projects include Prop Master on Project Spotlight's We Begin in a Tavern (March 22'), UCF's Interference (September 22'), and assisting with projections on UCF's The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui (February 23'). Costume Designer
Emma Gordon
Emma Gordon (any pronouns) is a theatre maker and performer with artistic practices in directing, design, and movement. They are the founder of Machine Yearning, a theatrical production company and project which explores how technology and artificial intelligence collide with human sexuality (@machineiearning). They are based in New York, where they attend Playwrights Horizons Theatre School through NYU.

Sound Designer
Erica Fox
Erica is a junior in the BFA Theatre Design & Technology program at UCF. Previous UCF Theatre credits include Knights' Ghoslight Podcast (Student Asst. Sound Designer), The Wolves (Asst. Sound Designer), Shrek: The Musical (A2), As You Like It (Co-Sound Designer), and As Its Written and Dear Helena (Sound Designer) for UCF's new work festival Pegasus Playlab. She is also has been the Master Sound Technician for UCF's Project Spotlight for the past 2 years which included Sound Designing both As Its Written and Race to Infinity for UCF Celebrates the Arts. Outside credits include As Its Written (Sound Designer) at Penguin Point and Manor of Death (Sound Designer) at the Orlando Fringe Festival 2023.

Lighting Designer
Emily Duncanson
Emily is a first year in the BFA Design and Technology program at UCF. She has worked with project spotlight doing the lighting design, programming, and operation for the past few festival seasons. She has worked with multiple professional theatre companies and is excited to continue her design journey with project spotlight and beyond.

Andres Procel is a senior in the BFA Acting program at the University of Central Florida, prior fight coordinator credits include As You Like it, (Dir. Vivian Majkowski) and Manor of Death, (Dir. Allison Young and Cristina Neely).

Madison Mintzer
Madison is a 3rd year BFA Musical Theatre student at UCF. Past choreography credits include: Blood N’ Stitching (Project Spotlight) and Beowulf (Timber Creek High School). Past performance credits include: UCF’s Home of the Brave, UCF’s Shrek (Female Swing), UCF’s Welcome to the Moon (Sally, U/S Shirley), The Henegar’s First Date (Woman 2), The Henegar’s Hello Dolly! (Ernestina), Alhambra Theatre’s The Music Man (Ensemble), and Titusville Playhouse’s The Wild Party (Mae).

TikTok Specialist
Danny Sanchez
Danny Sanchez (He/Him) is an Orlando based performer and Social Media Coordinator at Icon Park. He just graduated from the University of Central Florida with his Bachelor’s in Theatre Studies and Double Minor(s) in Journalism and Creative Writing. His Theatre UCF credits are Bard 3 (We Begin In A Tavern Project Spotlight), Bandito 2 / Toucan (Sombra Del Sol), Judge #2 (Talkback- Project Spotlight). Some of Danny’s other credits have been William Barfee (25th Annual…Spelling Bee), Christopher Wren (The Mousetrap), Parker/Others (Freaky Friday), and The Steward (Into the Woods). Brandy Ramos
Brandy is a 1st year transfer in in the BFA stage management program at UCF. She is very excited to be given this opportunity. Caroline Hull
Caroline Hull is a first-year Master's student at the University of Central Florida, pursuing a degree in Theatre and specializing in writing. She is a performer, playwright, and dramaturg. Recent credits include The Ensemble Company's Stupid Fucking Bird (Nina), UCF's The Interference (Dramaturg - Nominated for KCACTF Region IV's Dramaturgy Award), and Project Spotlight's As It's Written (Playwright). Reme Elias
Reme has recently graduated UCF with a B.A. in Theatre Studies. She previously worked as the Prop and Set Designer for Apocallypseville at last year's Orlando Fringe Festival. She has also worked with UCF's Project Spotlight as an Assistant Director (Act Naturally) and Props Designer (As It's Written, Committed, Polergeist, etc). During her time at UCF she was a Dramaturg (As It's Written), Props Manager (Welcome to the Moon and other One Acts) and Props Artisan (Shrek and As You Like It).
